MEDICINAL PLANT GARDEN

Since the dawn of history, humans and animals have sought healing from plants. Although many of today’s most popular curatives are compounded in laboratories, there are still vast numbers of commercial remedies whose major medicinal ingredients are derived from green herbs, trees, and shrubs. The College has maintained A Medicinal plant garden which is a dedicated to the collection, cultivation and display of a wide range of Medicinal Plants, herbs and spices labelled with their botanical names. The garden flora is conserved as per the classification of plant kingdom. It also serves as conservation source of the standard specimens.
