MARATHWADA MITRA MANDAL’S COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, PUNE IPR CELL

Mission

To create awareness and provide guidance to students and faculty on filing IPR applications and the rules and obligations of the IPR policy of the institute.

Objectives

To motivate faculty and students for filing IPR for their inventions and support them for research activities within the framework of the institutional policy on IPR.

To create a research environment for acquiring new knowledge through innovation.

To promote inter disciplinary research activity.

Intellectual property refers to creations of the mind: inventions, literary and artistic works, and symbols, names, images, and designs; for which a set of exclusive rights like copyrights, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights and trade secrets are recognized under the corresponding fields of IP law. An Intellectual Property Right (IPR) Cell has been formed at Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s College of Pharmacy to ensure continuous research activities and to create awareness about IPR among faculties, research scholars and the students of the Institution.

Functions and Responsibilities

To create an awareness about IPR amongst faculty and students.
To impart training on patent filing processes.
To conduct workshops and seminars on IPR to promote better understanding of IP law.
