The MMCOP, Pune has decided to roll out initiatives to make the campus more environments friendly. The institute plans to take measures in this direction by addressing different major aspects – biodiversity, energy, water conservation and minimizing waste.
In MMCOP we encourage people to “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Turn-Off”. Its team consists of students, faculty and staff of MMCOP. It strives hard to implement various activities that will contribute towards eco-friendly and sustainable practices on the MMCOP campus.
The MMCOP, Pune has been highlighting the need for “minimizing the institute’s impact on the environment.”
In regard of this, the institute has participated in spreading the knowledge about environmental issues, green technologies to the student through the subject Environmental science and also practices besides Sustainable MMCOP student organization. The purpose of MMCOP is to “track, monitor and steer the institute towards green practices.” by this way MMCOP abide by the Sustainability principles & Civic Responsibilities.
