The theme for World Hepatitis Day 2024 is "It's time for action." World Hepatitis Day was observed on July 31st 2024 at 2.00 p.m. in the classroom complex. The students of Final Year B. Pharm prepared a presentation on the causes, symptoms, prevention strategies and treatment for the same. The presentation was given to all the students from S. Y to Final Year of B. Pharm and S. Y D. Pharm and M. Pharm students which were followed by a short quiz. The Final Year students Ms. Ishwari Hatolkar, Mr. Pranav Dhande and Ms. Pallavi Argade took charge of observation of the day. |

The students of Final Year B.Pharm created awareness amongst their juniors by a way of Power point presentation, displaying a short film and speech on the topic suggested by WHO “Time to act on dementia, Time to act on Alzheimer's”. The faculty and students were motivated to spread the message and information to their communities and societies. |

The World Mental Health Day on 9th October 2024 with great enthusiasm where Mrs. Dhanashree Ghare madam delivered a talk on the theme “Mental Health at the Workplace”, that was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of mental well-being in professional environments. To foster student participation and create a lively atmosphere, a variety of games focusing on mental acuity and teamwork were conducted on the 10th October 2024 from 4.00 pm onwards. |

On the occasion of World AIDS Day, the college has organized Activity on 2nd December 2024. Several students participated in the activity. The aim of the program was to bring attention to the growing number of people living long and full lives with HIV and about their health and social needs and also to educate the general mass about the prevention and treatment. The objective of visit was to highlight the shooting prevalence of AIDS and its impact on educating people about the preventive tips of AIDS. |

National Pharmacy Education Day was celebrated on March 6, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to highlight advancements in pharmaceutical education and research. Dr. Babita Agarwal shared insights on industry trends, innovation, and career opportunities. Students participated in interactive sessions. A panel discussion of teachers on the future of pharmacy education was the highlight. The event fostered learning and collaboration among faculty and students. |

1. World Pharmacists Day 25th September 2024
On 24th September 2024, 300 students and 50 faculty members of Post Graduate, Degree and Diploma courses in Pharmacy and Pharmacy at Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Pharmacy, Thergaon, Pune 411033 celebrated World Pharmacists Day with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. This year's theme was "Pharmacists: Meeting Global Health Needs", highlighting how pharmacists are playing a vital role in healthcare. The event was not only spectacular, but was also organized to inspire people and educate them about the integral role of pharmacists.
2. Vachan Prerna Diwas 15th October 2024
On the occasion of Vachan Prerana Din, the college has organized Seminar on 15th October 2024 between 4.00 pm to 5.00 p.m. for faculty, students and staff. As part of the celebration, an e-copy of the globally acclaimed book “Atomic Habits” by James Clear was shared with all students and faculty members. The book, known for its actionable insights on building good habits and breaking bad ones, was chosen to align with the theme of self-improvement and personal growth.
3. National Pharmacy Week Celebration: 20th January – 22nd January 2025
Our College enthusiastically participated in the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Pune Branch, organized 63rd National Pharmacy Week 2024 (THEME-: "THINK PHARMACY THINK HEALTH") from 20/01/25 to 25/01/25 jointly by all Pharmaceutical Institutes, Industry and Professionals of Pune District. In all 28 Diploma students, 33 Degree students and 33 PG students participated with an outstanding performance. Our college organized the ‘Debate Competition’ on the 22nd January 2025 which had 60 participants from all three categories and from different college of Pune district.
