1 World Pharmacists Day 25 th September 2023
The students of B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Diploma along with the faculty members observed World Pharmacists Day on 25th September 2023. Various posters were prepared which were displayed in the premises. The Pharmacists Day was observed with full zeal and enthusiasm along with the initiative of The Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Pune Branch. The Chemist Druggist Association along with the IPA and the college students appreciated the efforts of the Pharmacists who work on the field. A rose and a certificate of appreciation were presented to over 100 pharmacists in and around Kalewadi, Thergaon by the hands of Chemist Association representatives and the students of the college.2. On the occasion of Vachan Prerana Din, the college has organized Seminar on 15 th October 2023 between 4.00 pm to 5.00 p.m. for faculty, students and staff. In the library various books other than course books were displayed for the students, faculty, non-teaching, parents and other stake holders. Benefits of reading books were also said and Hon. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was remembered during this day.3. National Pharmacy Week Celebration: 20 th September – 26 th September 2023
Our students participated in various competitions held during NPW which is jointly organized by IPA, Pune Branch and all Pharmacy Colleges of Pune District. Total 71 students participated in various events like Ideathon, Pharma Detailing, Patient Counselling, Poster presentation, Quiz Competition, Debate competition, General Aptitude, Interview Skills etc. Our PG Students won the General Runner-up Championship Trophy and were felicitated at the Prize distribution ceremony. Few B.Pharm and Diploma students also emerged winner and runner-ups for activities they competed in. Our College organized the General Aptitude Test for all the colleges under the NPW events on the 21 st September 2023.
